ROYAL RIBS
An all-cotton cloth, plain weave, with all the warp threads working in pairs. The picks are about twice the number of ends per inch. Fair samples are 36-in. 100 yards, 72 ends and 140 picks per inch, 28's warp, 32's weft, 50-in., 90 yards, 68 ends and 136 picks per inch, 30's warp, 36's weft. The effect is that of ribs down the piece.
